Tryouts for the 2009 12U, 14U, and 16U Teams will be held on these dates:

August 16th (Saturday): 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
August 23rd (Saturday): 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM

14U Wildfire & Fireballs combined tryout
August 12th (Tuesday): 6-8 PM
August 16th (Saturday): 9-11 AM
August 19th (Tuesday): 6-8 PM
August 23rd (Saturday): 9-11 AM

16U Wildfire Tryouts
September 6th (Saturday): Times TBD
September 7th (Sunday): Times TBD

NOTE: The 16U Wildfire will not tryout on Aug 26th or Aug 30th.

All tryouts are at West Goshen Community Park which is located at the intersection of Fern Hill and N. Five Points Road (near Ice Line) in West Chester, PA. For mapping purposes, use 200 Lawrence Drive, West Chester, PA 19380 (park in the rear lot of Animas Corp)

WCGSA is proud of its successful travel program.  In 2009 we will field 4 teams in three age groups - 12U, two 14U teams and 16U.   The goals of these teams are to build and sustain competitive teams and to successfully compete in ASA, NSA, USSSA and PONY tournaments.   The Fireballs play an exclusive "A" schedule and the Wildfire teams play both "A" and "B" schedules.   Each team typically strives to earn an invitiation to mid-summer State and National level tournaments through earning berths in their Qualifier tournaments in the Spring and early Summer.

Congratulations to the Wildfire 10U Tournament Team for their 1st place victory in the LYA "Mane Event" Tournament Sunday, June 22nd. The girls fought their way to a decisive 12-6 victory in the championship game. Go Wildfire!
