I just wanted to thank everyone for all of your efforts to make Wildfire Opening Day 2009 so successful!  We lucked out with the weather, had a fantastic outpouring of volunteer support (thank you to each of you that helped with field maintenance, set-up, decorating, pictures, 50/50 and Raffle sales, and of course, Apparel Sales!), an amazing turnout of players and families, an incredible songbird who delivered our National Anthem-thank you CARLEY POWERS!, a motivating guest speaker, thank you THERESA DUNBAR!, and some awesome 12U and 14U softball games to close out the day!

A very special thanks also goes out to Eric Carlson, who has endured us for so many years, while at the same time making priceless contributions to West Chester Girls Softball Association/Wildfire...thanks for starting our season by throwing out the FIRST PITCH!!!

And as always, big thanks to Bob Bell for all of his hard work on the fields!!!

Congratulations to Andy Rogers who won the 50/50, and to 12U Alyssa Leavens, who won the Bat Bag stuffed with Wildfire Gear!
